Why did I start this site? Simple, to have a portal site for my own kids to use as a reference when they are online. Websites are popping up by the minute and there's no way to control what my kids are exposed to. So one way to combat the junk out there was for me to setup a portal site that had a safe search engine built in. In addition I began cataloging websites that were kids friendly and fun for the kids to use. I am also cataloging sites that are useful for parents and other educators.
